The NU-543 carries the LabGard® value proposition across the boundaries of geography and scientific applications by offering the broadest choice of configurations. This model features a dual thermistor airflow sensor and alphanumeric display for laboratories requiring a clear measurement of their cabinet’s performance and a choice of three NSF listed work access openings for procedures needing ergonomic access to the work zone. The cabinet can optionally be made with a smooth interior for procedures such as pharmacy compounding and always includes a prop up work tray to ease regular cleaning under the work surface. Double exhaust filters can be fitted to meet the requirements of an application or national guidelines. The NU-99729VFT Blizzard™ plugs in to nearly any laboratory with its ability to operate on a spectrum of electrical currents from 100-230V/50-60Hz and connect to them through a broad choice of power cords. Users can prioritize tight governance of the inner temperature by using the freezer in High Performance mode or use the more forgiving Energy Saving mode to prioritize efficiency. This model’s computer economizes energy use by turning the compressors on and off at the ideal times, which also serves to minimize the noise output. Samples are safely stored on steel shelves inside the freezer behind not only a quadruple-gasketed outer door but also a set of four single-gasketed and insulated inner doors. The outer door perimeter is implanted with heated elements that keep ice and frost buildup under control. Beyond its modern aesthetics, the touch screen allows users to easily review records of not only the freezer’s operation but also a summary of the storage and withdrawal of the numerous samples kept inside. Short-term performance is graphed on screen while long term data is downloaded via a USB port.
